- For USB-C alt mode functionality, the host PC must support Thunderbolt™ 3 or Thunderbolt™ 4.
- Backwards compatible with USB-C® alt mode, ports operate at USB-C® alt mode speeds depending on host specifications. For USB-C alt mode functionality, the host PC must support the DisplayPort alt mode protocol via its USB-C port.
- Charging and port replication is supported by notebooks that have implemented the USB-C® alt mode industry specifications.
- Power button to turn on or wake up the system, Wake-on LAN from S4/S5 and MAC Address Pass-Through S0, S3, S4, S5 only work on HP or HP supported notebooks.
- HP does not offer Ethernet and audio drivers for Mac PCs.
