Finding out the model and serial number with the help of the Windows command prompt

First you have to open the Windows command prompt. To do this, press the Windows key and now search for "cmd". Then press Enter.

To find out your model, enter "wmic csproduct get name" in the command prompt and press Enter.

To find out your serial number, enter "wmic bios get serialnumber" at the command prompt and press Enter.


Finding out the model and serial number with the help of the Windows system information

msinfo32

Press the [Windows] and [R] keys simultaneously so that the "Run" command opens.

Enter "msinfo32" and confirm with "OK".

Now the system information opens. Here you will get a detailed overview of the installed hardware and also the model and serial number.
